Know before you draw
Thyrocare / Labcorp pattern: prep at the decision point so patients don’t arrive unprepared.
Fasting panels
Many lipid and glucose-related tests need 8–12 hours fasting (water ok). Confirm on WhatsApp for your specific panel.
Bring
Photo ID, doctor’s order if any, and payment method. Most routine visits take about 10–15 minutes check-in to draw.
Results timing
Routine results are often discussed as 24–48 hours in ops materials; specialty panels may take longer. Ask when you book — do not treat this as a guaranteed SLA until desk confirms.
Medications
Do not stop prescribed meds unless your clinician told you to. Tell the phlebotomy team about anticoagulants or recent illness.
